A Hand Sewing Class
‘English Paper Piecing’ has been around for hundreds of years and it’s still going strong. During this introductory class you will discover how to make hexagons using this technique before moving on to making ‘Quilt As You Go‘ hexagons. Suitable for beginners.
Technique 1 – ‘English Paper Pieced’ Hexagons
This is a quaint and quite addictive method of hand sewing that can be done anywhere. Once you start making hexys you can turn them into just about anything from place mats or bottle carriers to full size quilts.
Technique 2 – ‘Quilt As You Go’ Hexagons
This second method is going to be just as addictive as the first and can be machine finished, or hand sewn. For this method you will discover how to make the template that you need, so there would be no need to buy expensive plastic ones.
