I couldn't decide between making a 'Rail Fence' quilt or a 'Log Cabin' quilt, so I made a 'Cabin Fence' quilt instead, which is a mixture of the two designs. I do hope you like it?
It's the new pattern for Summer 2024 and it was hand quilted with 'Big Stitching' to finish, which is a little slower than machine quilting, but I enjoyed every minute. Why not give it a try and enjoy the process yourself, but make it in your own colours. The pattern (although written for the more experienced quilter), gives three different layout options.

I am running a 3 session course at the end of the year to make the 'quilt top' together. If you live in the North East, the classes are being held at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, visitor centre in County Durham and the dates are as follows:
Saturday September 14th (1.15 - 3.45pm) - but please arrive about 1 o'clock.
Saturday October 12th (same time)
Saturday November 23rd (same time)
