Class, Workshop, Tea Party and Show Bookings

Payment for a class, workshop or tea party is required in advance, when booking to secure a space. A deposit can be taken to secure a Trunk Show booking with the full balance due 30 days before the show date.

Booking Cancellations

If we have to cancel. It is very unlikely that we would cancel a class, workshop, party or show but in the event that we do have to cancel we will not accept liability for any other costs incurred by the customer other than the event fee. The option of transferring the date or time of the event being cancelled may also be given as an option.

If you have to cancel. Please let us know as soon as possible – we will endeavour to fill your space if we have a waiting list or in some instances we may be able to offer a transfer to another class or event date if there is one available. A customer can only transfer onto another class, workshop or party once. However, no refunds can be given if a customer is cancelling within 48 hours of a class, workshop, party or show going ahead. The customer can still transfer to another available date but would need to then repay the cost for that class, workshop, party or show.

If we cannot supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for the goods or you will be fully refunded for any money already paid for the item. However, we will not be held responsible for compensating you for any other losses which may occur if we do not supply the goods.

If an item is defective or we have made a mistake to your order, we will either refund or replace the item.  Please notify us as soon as possible upon receipt of your order. If for some reason you are unhappy with your item you can return it to us, (unused) and in the original packaging for a refund within 7 days, minus the cost of the postage. You will also have to pay to post the item back to us.

Services will be delivered as per stated in the item description. We have the right to remove or cancel a product or service from the website at any time.

Prices

The price of goods or services may be subject to change by us, due to a rise in our incurred costs or a change in prices with the wholesaler, or if an error has been made by us and we need to amend it. If an item has been purchased by you at a price, that price will then be held by us and never raised after you have purchased a product or service, therefore we will not ask you for further payment.

Placing Your Order

Placing an order represents an offer from you to purchase the goods and we will indicate our acceptance via email confirmation. It is your responsibility to ensure accurate address details are given to us to prevent any postal or delivery errors.

Whilst every care is taken to accurately show an item or product online, the appearance, colour or texture may differ so we cannot guarantee that images are an accurate representation of the actual goods or services you are purchasing.

Discounts and Vouchers

Only one discount code/voucher can be used per transaction. Discount codes and vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Out of Stock Items

If an item purchased online has unfortunately been sold elsewhere before we are able to update the website, you will be contacted by us about a refund or a replacement item. If possible we can try and replace the same item for you if it is in stock with the wholesaler or printer.

Return and Refund policy

Due to the nature of 'digital' products no refund is available as patterns and courses emailed cannot be returned. There is no way of knowing if a copy has not been kept on a customers computer.

Also due to the nature of 'personalised' goods we are unable to offer refunds if the product is not to your liking or you have changed your mind. If you have made an error we cannot re-work the item or re-use it and therefore cannot offer a refund or credit.

If you are unhappy with a physical item purchased you can return it to us within 7 working days of the item being delivered. It must be in original packaging and in the condition it was sent in to the following address: 10 Marsden Close, Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne & Wear, DH4 5QL.

We recommend that you receive Proof of Posting or send by recorded delivery.

You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. However, you will need to notify us if you wish to cancel your contract.

If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit/debit card will be re-credited to your account within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we will be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods, from the amount to be re-credited to you.

You will be re-credited for the costs incurred in returning faulty or unsatisfactory goods.

Liability

a) make good any shortage or non-delivery; or
b) replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
c) refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
