This little pattern shows how to make an elasticated floral bookmark to use on your reading book or diary. It's also been found to make a good headband or brooch, (by adding a brooch pin to the back instead of the ealstic). Or maybe you could make it as a gift for someone else?
The sample shown has been made using all spotty / polka dot fabrics, but you can use your own favourite colours and patterns. It's an ideal scrappy or should I say 'raggy' project in which to use up and recycle those smaller pieces. (The template is included).
It's also a lovely project to encourage children to sew? A few basic hand sewing skills are required to make it.
