This step by step pattern takes you through the process of making two simple quilts. One uses strips of fabric, the other shows how to make a quilt using a pre-printed panel. 
 
They can both then be turned into an optional 'Quillow', by adding a cushion cover to the back of the quilt, the quilt can be folded and used as the stuffing inside the cushion, or pillow, hence the name 'Quillow'. Ideal for throwing in the car for a picnic or day out.
 
Not only for children this makes a nice sized lap quilt for adults too.
